Once the timed toasting period has concluded, they hold the toast in the slots which retain residual element warmth, until the chef is ready to manually eject for service. The 5 slice TC55 is 10 amp and the 6 slice TC66 is 15 amp. Both Roband vertical toasters include a 2 slice switch to conserve energy when only 2 slices are required at a time.
